Thankfully, Elizabeth Wilson’s 1 star review no longer applies to Avondrust, as her mother lived there quite some time ago, probably about two years or more. The present new management do not even know the person. The current manager and assistant manager are professional, dedicated and caring people who give of their best to ensure a well-run residence where people are happy, well fed with good food, and in a pleasant, clean environment. The broken, chipped crockery shown in Elizabeth’s photos has been replaced. The head of nursing is knowledgeable, helpful, kind and wise. The receptionist is friendly and helpful.
