What a wonderful experience! I decided to go to the dentist for the first time in years before moving abroad. Dr Kalan was absolutely incredible and saw me for three days in a row to fit me in before my flight. He’s got a real fatherly touch - gentle and caring, with an occasional hand on my shoulder to either make sure I was okay, or to say “well done” when it got a bit grueling. His work was outstanding and so thorough - he even took an xray after doing my fillings to check that he was happy! The oral hygienist and the dental assistant were also both fantastic, knowing exactly how to make you feel comfortable while doing excellent jobs. The best part for me was actually when Dr Kalan walked out the room to get something. I started chatting to the dental assistant about her work... Completely unprompted, she said “I’m really lucky, because I have the best teacher in the world.” That pretty much sums up the feel of the place. An incredibly experienced dentist who genuinely cares about his staff’s careers and wellbeing, which as a result means that all round the standard of practice is superb. I will be coming back annually when I visit home!
