I have been a client of Chris Eksteen for many years. He is an absolute expert in his field and especially when it comes to astigma. Initially i had to transition from soft contact lenses to hard lenses, due to irregular astigma. Soft lenses was just no longer viable due to the astigma. Chris patiently supported me during this process. It was a difficult transition for me as my eyes was so comfortable with the soft lenses. For many years my eyes stabilized and even improved on hard lenses. Recently i unfortunately started to suffer from very dry eyes. This meant i could no longer wear my lenses - in spite of using a lot of lubrication throughout the day. And so we had to journey again - back to specs! Thank goodness for the developments in the field and Chris being up to date with the best options. I am so happy and thankful -once again- with the improvement in my vision and eye comfort. I highly recommend Chris and feel so blessed to have him as my optomotrist!

I would really like to thank Dr Chris Eksteen for giving me an emergency appointment and then diagnosing my problem with my left eye so fast. He quickly said I need to see an Opthalmologist and he contact one of his connections and got me an emergency appointment right away. I can't thank Dr Chris Eksteen enough for his kindness normally you have to wait 3-6months to get an appointment with an Opthalmologist. We are so really blessed to have such a caring Dr Eksteen in the Southern suburbs area and he only wants the best care for his patients. Thanks to him my left eye is recovering rapidly fast.
