This needs to be placed on record: excellent customer service from the Pick n Pay Rondebosch team, time and time again. From the friendly cleaners, bakery, catering team, vegetable department staff, packers, cashiers, and supervisors, the level of service is consistently outstanding. I experienced difficulty contacting the Smart Shopper Customer Care Line (SSCCL) after I had blocked my Smart Shopper card due to it being stolen. I subsequently collected a replacement card from the Rondebosch store and attempted to register it online myself, but was unsuccessful. I called the SSCCL from my office, and a manager at Pick n Pay also assisted by dialling from two telephones simultaneously; however, the lines rang continuously without response. On this occasion, Ncimo took charge and personally assisted me in-store, patiently guiding me through the process of registering my replacement Smart Shopper card on my phone. Customer care such as hers deserves recognition and commendation.
